Know what your roof needs—and what your quote includes.
Considering roof cleaning for your Warrington home? Clint and the Just Clean Property Care team can help you understand the options, discuss the condition of your roof and plan the work required.
Whether your main concern is moss build-up, staining or the overall appearance of the roof, we start with the property—not a cleaning package chosen before we have seen it.
Explore the methods below, see what goes into a quotation and find out what to expect before arranging a clean.
Roof-Cleaning Services by Just Clean Property Care
Before recommending a cleaning method, we consider the roof covering, its condition and the access available. These details help determine how the work should be approached.
Tell us about any known leaks, loose or damaged tiles, previous repairs or areas you are particularly concerned about. Photographs can help start the conversation, although further assessment may be needed before the work is confirmed.
We will explain the proposed approach and discuss what you are hoping to achieve, so you can consider the recommendation before booking.
A roof clean is not a roof repair. Any repairs or separate assessments should be discussed before work proceeds and identified separately in the quotation.
Just Clean Property Care offers manual moss removal, soft washing, low-pressure cleaning and steam cleaning. The method—or combination of methods—depends on the roof and the agreed work. Not every roof needs every stage.
We will explain the recommendation rather than expecting you to choose between unfamiliar cleaning methods.
01
Manual removal uses tools to lift moss and debris from the roof surface. Where appropriate, it forms part of preparing the roof for furthercleaning or treatment.
The proposed approach should reflect the roof covering and its condition.
02
Soft washing uses a cleaning solution applied at low pressure to addressorganic growth.
We explain the treatment being proposed, why it is appropriate and whatyou should expect from it before agreeing the work.
03
Low-pressure cleaning is one of the options available for removingsurface build-up where suitable.
It is considered alongside the other methods, rather than assumed to bethe right choice for every property.
04
Specialist steam-cleaning equipment provides another option for suitable roofs.
We assess whether it belongs in the proposed cleaning approach and explain how it would be used as part of the agreed work.
You do not need to choose a method before contacting us. Start by telling us about your roof.
The space around your property matters as well as the roof itself.
A rear extension, conservatory, narrow driveway or shared access may affect the arrangements for carrying out the clean. Show us these areas when you enquire so we can consider them alongside the roof.
Where access equipment is required, the arrangements should be discussed as part of the proposed work and quotation.
Please also mention anything nearby that needs particular consideration, such as planting, a pond, parked vehicles or areas you need to keep accessible.
Photographs taken from ground level are helpful. Please do not climb onto your roof to take them.
A useful quotation explains more than the total price. It should show which parts of the property are included, how the work will be approached and what happens afterwards.
Before booking, make sure the scope reflects what you have asked for.
Whether the work covers the main roof, an extension, garage or other agreed sections.
The recommended method and any relevant limitations.
Whether a treatment is proposed and included in the price.
The equipment and access required to carry out the work.
What debris removal, gutter work and surrounding-area cleaning are included.
Any separately agreed work beyond the roof clean.
For example, clearing debris from gutter channels is different from washing the outside of the gutters. Tell us which tasks you would like considered so the quotation can make the distinction clear.
Have a question about an item in your quote? Ask before booking—we want the scope to be understood.
Before-and-after photographs show the change in appearance. A project account helps explain how that result was achieved.
Explore a completed roof clean from the Just Clean Property Care team, including the original condition, access arrangements, cleaning approach and documented outcome.
Your quotation should reflect the roof areas being cleaned, the proposed method and the practical arrangements needed to complete the work.
Start by sending your postcode, a brief description and any photographs you have. Include views of the space around the property where access could be a consideration.
We will discuss your requirements and explain whether more information or a visit is needed before confirming the scope and price.
Quotations are free, with no obligation to book.
Where a price is shown in a case study, it relates to that particular property and the work completed. It should not be treated as a fixed price for every roof that looks similar.
Photographs are a useful starting point, particularly when they show both the roof and the available access.
We will explain whether they provide enough information to confirm the work or whether a visit or further assessment is needed. You can still enquire without photographs.
Tell us about any dates or times when access is restricted so these can be considered before a booking is agreed.
We will explain any preparation needed for the agreed work, including access, parking and whether items near the work area need to be moved.
Please mention shared access, pets, ponds, delicate planting or anything else you would like us to consider when planning the visit.
Your quotation will confirm the gutter work and clean-up included.
Do not assume every quotation covers the same tasks. Let us know whether you also want gutter clearing, external gutter washing or other work considered.
Tell us about any known damage or leaks when you enquire. Any repairs or separate assessment needed before cleaning should be discussed first.
Tile replacement, pointing and other repairs are not included unless specifically agreed.
We aim to improve the roof’s appearance, but we do not promise a new-roof
finish.
Discuss your expectations before booking and ask about the aftercare associated with the chosen method or treatment. Any guarantee, follow-up work or maintenance arrangement should be confirmed in writing.
Tell us about your property, the roof areas you would like cleaned and any concerns you have about the work.
Clint and the Just Clean Property Care team will discuss your enquiry and help you understand the next step.
